For whatever reason, Fall in the central valley always eludes us. We go from hot summer nights through most of September, and somewhere near the end of October/early November, Fall will finally show up. In those glorious TWO weeks, I try to squeeze as many families as possible in for fall family photos. The light is soft, and the temperature is cool enough not to break a single drop of sweat. Everything seems to be lightly golden, and the contrast of the falling bright orange and red leaves makes it the best season!

The Blackstone family are some of my favorite people in the whole world. The last time I photographed Destiny and Robby, they were a family of two. I fondly remember the entire family dancing the night away on their wedding day. So to see them as parents and amazing ones at that makes my heart happy. Here are just a few favorite photographs of our time together.
